After spending most of my career on Wall Street as an executive in electronic trading. I was awakened after witnessing 9/11 and the collapse of the World Trade Center. I spent the days after the tragedy surrounded by posters of missing loved ones including two colleagues. I attended memorial services, participated in candlelight vigils and heard people's stories every day in the weeks that followed. The experience left with me with the realization that many of these individuals may have left no marks other than the memories of those whose paths they had crossed.

To feed my desire to learn more about film making, audio capture and peoples lives, I attended a five week intensive digital filmmaking class at The New York Film Academy, enrolled in a year long program at the San Francisco School of Digital- Filmmaking and received a certificate from The Digital Video Intensive program at San
